Thanksfor your replies. Having read through many threads on the 159 and the JTS 1.9 model in particular, I think I am going to pass on owning this particular Alfa. It is a shame. It is a lovely looking car and a very comfortable drive. The feeling of it being under-powered and the poor on fuel consumption is not an attractive combination.
